Sumit Sahdev studied architecture at Cornell University (B.Arch, 2005) and Princeton University (M.Arch II, 2009). He has worked with notable offices, including OMA in NY, Stan Allen Architect and Studio Hillier in NJ and SOM in SF, and collaborated with Project Room in Los Angeles. He has extensive experience with commercial workspaces and residential projects, and has also worked on retail, transportation and cultural projects in the US, Japan, China and the UAE. Across this range, Sumit has operated at a variety of scales, from bespoke interiors to high-rise towers to urban infrastructure.

While the project type varies, the approach is consistent. The process, charged with curiosity and rigor, seeks out opportunities to create spaces that bring people together in unexpected ways. Simple solutions inform and shape the often complex relationships of the program, the site and the context.
